About the Journal
JEATB is an initiative by a group of Cameroonian researchers in biological sciences who aim to popularize the potential of tropical bioresources. In this regard, it integrates skills from different fields, including pharmacology, entomology, and the animal, plant, and environmental sciences, to provide up-to-date scientific information for its audience.
Readership
Animal Scientists, Biochemists, Ecologists, Entomologists, Medicinal Chemists, Microbiologists, Pharmacologists, Plant Scientists, and Toxicologists.

All manuscripts submitted to this journal undergo a verification process for plagiarism through the Plagiarism Checker X program (https://plagiarismcheckerx.com/)

Open Access Policy
This journal provides authors with an open-access publication, allowing them to have their articles immediately and permanently available online for everyone. There is a publication fee of 275 USD. A partial waiver can be granted to authors from Low and Middle-income countries (https://data.worldbank.org/income-level/low-and-middle-income?view=chart) on demand (publication fee: 85 USD). Payment could be sent through PayPal, MoneyGram, Western Union, or Bank transfer. For authors who live in Countries using the MTN network, they can also make the transfer via MTN Mobile Money (MoMo) to the Treasurer of JEATB.
All articles are subject to high-quality peer review, editorial, and production processes.

Peer Review Process
All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process by at least two external experts in the relevant field. The editorial team strives to provide an initial decision within X weeks of submission.

Archiving Policy
To ensure the long-term preservation of digital scholarly content, the Journal of Experimental and Applied Tropical Biology utilizes the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) [or LOCKSS / CLOCKSS if applicable] to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
